Fruit Dip Recipe
- 1 block softened cream cheese
- 1 tub of whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme (or fluff)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
Blend with a hand mixer or food processor and serve with your favorite fruit, cookies, etc.
Serving idea
Use this delicious dip to top sugar cookies and make individual fruit pizzas. These are so fun for parties and picnics! This red, white and blue combination would be great for Memorial Day or 4th of July celebrations but you can use your favorite combinations of fruit for any time of year.
Leftovers ( ha ha) are yummy on pancakes or waffles with fresh fruit the next morning! YUM!
There are a variety of variations for this recipe out there but I love this version. You could substitute yogurt for the whipped topping if you’d like. In addition, you could add a splash of maraschino cherry juice to add a nice pink color and a touch of additional sweetness.
Storage
Store fruit dip in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to a week.
Is marshmallow fluff the same as marshmallow creme?
Marshmallow fluff and marshmallow creme are so similar that it is hard to tell them apart. You can use them interchangeably in this fruit dip. The biggest difference between them is the way they are mixed or whipped. Marshmallow fluff has a slightly lighter and fluffier consistency than marshmallow creme.
I hope you will pick up the ingredients to mix up a batch of this delicious fruit dip the next time you are a the store and let me know how you like it! While the Farmer’s Markets are bursting with fresh fruit, you’re also going to want to mix up some yummy homemade popsicles too.
