Valentine’s Day M&M’s Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of softened butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar (I like to use raw cane sugar with a coarser texture)
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1 extra large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup festive Valentine’s mix M&M candies

Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350º degrees.
- Using a stand mixer or an electric hand mixer, beat the butter with the sugars until creamy. Add the vanilla bean paste and egg; beat on low speed until just incorporated ~ 10 -15 seconds.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Over mixing will produce a tough cookie.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and M&Ms by hand.
- Scoop the dough into balls and place on a cookie sheet (recipe makes 9-12 cookies, depending on scoop size).
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until the cookies are just barely golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on the pan for 15 minutes or so and then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
- ENJOY!
Use this recipe for everyday by switching out M&Ms for the regular mix or other holiday mixes. Use pastels for easter or red & green for Christmas. This recipe is a winner no matter the time of year!
