Not only is this leprechaun bait recipe colorful, fun and yummy but it is gluten-free making it a fun option for those on special diets. Since Rice Chex and original Lucky Charms are both gluten-free cereals, they are perfect for this gluten-free treat!
Leprechaun Bait Ingredients
- 2 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 12 oz bag of white chocolate candy melts
- Rainbow sprinkles – measure with your heart ♡
Optional mix-ins:
Mini pretzels* – Make sure they are gluten-free if that is important to you.
Green M&Ms
Mini marshmallows
White chocolate chips
Dehydrated colored marshmallows – sometimes found online or at stores like Grocery Outlet!
St. Patty’s Day sprinkles

20 mins to make & set
Serves 6-8
Directions
Combine dry ingredients by tossing all the together in a very large bowl.
Melt white chocolate melts. Microwave the chocolate until melted and then immediately toss it with the mix.
Let harden. Let the mix stand at room temperature to harden – Break apart and enjoy or package up to share with the free printable gift tags below!
