Ghost Pop Tarts
Move over store-bought pop tarts, homemade is where it’s at. Not only do these taste better, but you can customize them easily with cookie cutters! (See my heart pop tarts for Valentine’s Day.) The trick is to use pre-made pie crust!! Fill with your favorite jam, seal with water, and press together with a fork. Bake at 350° for 12-15 mins. To make your own icing, use powdered sugar and a splash of milk! Decorate with cute Halloween sprinkles.
Alternative option: Serve up mini pumpkin pies with this easy ghost hand pies recipe!
Cookies & SCREAM Bark
Ingredients
- White chocolate
- Oreo cookies
- Candy eyeballs
Directions
- Melt white chocolate in the microwave for 15 second increments until fully melted.
- Pour melted chocolate onto a silicone baking mat or parchment lined cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle with Oreo crumbles and a second layer of chocolate.
- Sprinkle with another layer of crushed Oreos and generously add candy eyes.
- Add remaining melted chocolate to a zip top bag and drizzle over bark.
- Let cool completely, then break into random pieces.
Sweet ‘n Salty Spider Webs
Sweet ‘n salty spider webs are always a hit!! Just melt white chocolate and pour into a bag. Cut the tip to make your design. No need to freeze, the chocolate will harden as it cools. Use the same process to “mummify” cookies! (Don’t forget the candy eyeballs!!)

No Bake Mummy Cookies
How cute are these no-bake mummy cookies? Perfect for party platters and oh, so easy! Simply coat Nutter Butter cookies with melted white chocolate and add candy eyes. Once chocolate coating is hardened, drizzle on melted white chocolate to form bandages.
* You can substitute white candy melts for white chocolate. Substitute Oreos or other sandwich cookies for Nutter Butters if concerned about peanut allergies.
Boos & Bats Chips ‘n Dip
I love homemade tortilla chips and they’re so simple to make! Using a Halloween shaped cookie cutter, cut out shapes from flour tortillas. Place tortillas on a baking sheet. Lightly coat with olive oil or cooking spray. Season with salt. Bake at 450° for 5-7 mins. Voila!
Monster Mouth Snack Plate
This monster mouth snack plate makes for such a spooktacular after school snack! Slice an apple and use your favorite nut butter to sandwich two slices. “Stuff” with mini marshmallows! Fill the rest of the plate with fresh fruit, Halloween “chow mix”, cookies, etc. Don’t forget candy eyeballs for added affect!

Banana Boo Treat
This banana boo treat could not be easier to make! Cut a banana in half and put a skewer through the bottom. Dip into melted white chocolate. Add mini chocolate chips for eyes and let cool. This would make a fun addition to a bento school lunch or as an afternoon treat!
