In the past I have shared my classic margarita recipe, which is delicious! If you haven’t tried it, please save it to try in the future. It’s one of my favorite cocktails. This dragonfruit laced cocktail is a fun twist on the classic with its gorgeous color and sweeter flavor. It would be great for parties!
Dragonfruit Margarita Recipe
2 oz tequila (I used Jose Cuervo Especial Blue Agave)
1 oz Orange liquor (I use Cointreau)
.5 oz Dragonfruit simple syrup (see below)
.5 oz Fresh lime juice
Add ice to shaker. Add ingredients and shake. Rim glass with sugar, add fresh ice, pour!
Garnish with lime wedges. Enjoy!
How I made Dragonfruit Syrup

I used Pitaya Foods Dragon Fruit Freeze Dried Powder mixed with water to create my simple syrup. This powder is great for adding to smoothies, swirling through smoothie bowls, yogurt, popsicles, desserts, cocktails and more.
What is Dragonfruit?
Dragonfruit is mildly sweet, similar to a pear and offers a punch of vitamins and minerals like fiber, magnesium, antioxidants, vitamin C, calcium, iron, & potassium.
