Patriotic White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions:

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
Add 1 egg + 1 egg yolk and vanilla bean paste to the sugar mixture, and mix until fully combined.
Gradually add in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Scoop the cookie dough into 2-ounce balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Before baking, generously add festive sprinkles to the top of each cookie, gently pressing them into the dough.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
