Frozen Hot Chocolate Brownies
BATTER INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 cups white sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS :
- Preheat oven to 350°F.

- Combine melted butter, oil and sugars together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well to combine. Add the eggs and vanilla bean paste; continue to whisk until fully combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined (be mindful to not over mix as doing so well affect the texture of your brownies)
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top out evenly
- Bake for 25-30 minutes for just under-done brownies (fudgier texture) or 35-40 minutes if you like your brownies more firm.
Hot Chocolate Frosting
FROSTING INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 TB heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup hot chocolate mix
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Allow brownies to cool completely while you prepare the frosting.
- Use electric mixer to beat the butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, hot chocolate mix, vanilla, and whipping cream until well combined and fluffy
- Frost brownies using an off set spatula & top with mini marshmallows.

Substitutions, Additions & Variations
- Chocolate – For the extra chocolatey flavor, try using a bittersweet or dark chocolate chips in place of sem-sweet.
- Brownie Bites – You can use a (well greased) mini muffin pan to make brownie bites! Bake them for 10-13 minutes.
- Mix-Ins – These brownies are amazingly delicious on their own, but you can also mix-in to the brownie batter: crushed up candy canes, mint chocolate, toffee pieces, chopped up nuts, shredded coconut or M&Ms.
- Toppings – Make these brownies more festive by adding Holiday sprinkles or crushed candy cane.
